The Study Of Yiqiyangxin Decoction On The Energy Metabolism In Rats With Experimental Heart Failure

Objective: To study the effect of Yiqi Yangxin Decoction on cardiac function and myocardialenergy metabolism of congestive heart failure model for the mechanism of energy metabolismchanges occurred in congestive heart failure and developing the treatment of congestive heartfailure.Methods: The rat model of congestive heart failure was induced by intraperitoneal injectionof doxorubicin, and randomly divided into four groups: Yiqi YangxinDecoction high DG(dose group), middle DG, low DG and captopril group, the blank group and the model groupwas used as control. Heart, lung, liver weight index, record left ventricular systolicpressure (LVSP), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) and the rate ofdecline and rise of ventricular pressure (±dp/dtmax), and myocardial injury was determined inall groups. High-energy phosphate compounds ATP, ADP, AMP, TAN content andNa+-K+-ATP enzyme and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATP enzyme content was also determined in all groups.Results: Yiqi Yangxin Decoction can reduce the heart, lung, liver weight index, improve±dp/dtmax, LVSP level, decrease the level of LVEDP, increase of high-energy phosphatecompounds ATP, ADP, AMP, TAN content and Na+-K+-ATP enzyme and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPenzyme content.Conclusion:1.Congestive heart failure model can be made by intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin. Themodel can better simulated the hemodynamics and myocardial pathological changes ofCongestive heart failure, was an ideal animal model of congestive heart failure.2.Yiqi Yangxin Decoction can reduce the heart, lung, liver weight index,improve±dp/dtmax, LVSP level, decrease the level of LVEDP, improve myocardial injury, to protectthe myocardium of rats with congestive heart failure.3.Yiqi Yangxin Decoction can improve the high-energy phosphatecompoundsATP, ADP, AMP, TAN content and Na+-K+-ATP enzyme and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATP enzymecontent, to improve the myocardial energy metabolism in rats with congestive heartfailure, and delay the progression of heart failure.
