The Study Of The Effect Of Fumigating And Washing With The Prescription Of The Fumigation No.2after Patellar Fracture Treated With Modified Tension Band

Objective:Using the prescription of the fumigation No.2to exercise after the modified Kirschner-wire tension band fixation of patella fracture is in order to improve the function of the knee joint, reduce the postoperative complications and explore a simple, convenient and effective approach to the treatment of patellar fracture.Methods:According to diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and without exclusion criteria,42patients treated with modified Kirschner-wire tension band from September,2013to March,2014were selected and randomly divided into2groups. The treatment group (n1=21) were applied with fumigating and washing with the prescription of the fumigation No.2including basic treatment. The control group (n2=21) were applied with Futalin ointment including basic treatment. The two groups were initiated two days after removing the stitches in2weeks after operation. Then they were applied continually for4weeks.The clinic data about age, gender and laterality were recorded. Assess the pain intensity with VAS in group A and B at2weeks,6weeks and12weeks postoperatively respectively. The range of motion of the affected knee was measured at2weeks,6weeks and12weeks postoperatively respectively. Assess the knee function with Bostman in group A and B at12weeks postoperatively respectively. Obtained the excellent rate in group A and B at12weeks postoperatively. Data were analyzed statistically with the help of the software package of SPSS16.0.Results:(1)No significant difference was found about range of motion of the affected knee between the two groups at2weeks postoperatively(p>0.05);Compared with the group B, improved range of motion of the affected knee in the group A from2to6weeks was found to be significantly different (p<0.05); Improved range of motion of the affected knee in the group A from2to12weeks was found to be significantly different (p<0.05).(2)No significant difference was found about VAS between the two groups at2,6and12weeks postoperatively (p>0.05).(3)Compared with the group B, the score about Bostman was found to be significantly different at12weeks postoperatively (p<0.05).(4)The good or excellent rate of Bostman were also100%in two groups at12weeks postoperatively. But there was found to be significantly different about good curative effect between two groups (p<0.05).(5)The good or excellent rate of (the Standard about Diagnosis and Curative Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine)were also100%in two groups at12weeks postoperatively. But there was found to be significantly different about good curative effect between two groups (p<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The prescription of the fumigation No.2could effectively relieve the pain of the patellar fracture treated with modified Kirschner-wire tension band. And the analgesic effect of the prescription of the fumigation No.2was comparable to Futalin ointment.(2)The prescription of the fumigation No.2could effectively improve the knee function of the patellar fracture treated with modified Kirschner-wire tension band.(3)The prescription of the fumigation No.2could improve the curative effect of the patellar fracture treated with modified Kirschner-wire tension band.
