In this paper, the chemical constituents of three medicinal plants in Yunnan province Podocarpus nagi, Aconitum chinense Paxton, and Lotus corniculatus were phytochemically studied, and 61 compounds, including 2 new one, were isolated and identified.36 compounds were isolated from Podocarpus nagi and their structures were elucidated by various spectra(1H-NMR and 13C-NMR), including diterpene lactone, diterpenoid, sesquiterpenes and lignan. Their structures were elucidated by various spectra to be as nagiditerpenoid A(1), suyiol(2), ferruginol(3), nagilactone A(4), 3-deoxynagilactone C(5), 4,15-dimethyl-2-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-hexadecene(6), ent-4β-Hydroxy-10α-methoxyaromadendrane(7), 4α-10β-alloaromadendramediol-10-methyether(8), 11β-11-dihydroxy-5-eudesmene(9), alloaromadendrane-4β,10α-diol(10), guaianediol(11), acomadendrane-4β,10β-dioll(12), d-aromadendrane- 4β,10α-diol(13), aromadend-4β-10β-diol(14), 4β,10β- dihydroxy-1αH,5βH-guaia-6-ene(15), 1S,4S,5S,6R,7R,10S)-1,4-dihydroxymaadiane(16),(+)-alloaromadendrane-4β(17), lochmolin F(18),(-)-haplomyfolol(19), anhydroseecoisolariciresinol(20),(-)-Pluviatolide(21), p-hydroxybenzoic acid(22), methyl 3,4-dihydroxy-benzoate(23), vanillic acid(24), 4αH-benzocycloheptene-3,4α-diol,decahydro-9α-methyl-4-methy lene-(3R,4αS,9αS)-rel(25), hydroxydihydroborolide(26),(3R,9R)-3,9- dihydrox ymegastigm-5-en-4-one(27), megastigm-5-en-3,9-diol(28), 1,4-peroxyaurol-ene(29), vomifoliol(30), 7-epilolidide(31), abscisic acid(32), α-onocerin(33), momordicine 4(34), glyceroylmonopalmitate(35), tridecyl docosanoate(36). Among them compound 1 was a new compound, 7-16,19-21,23,25-29,32,33,36 were firstly isolated from the genus,14,15,17,18,22,31 and 34 were firstly isolated from the plant.From the root of Aconitum chinense Paxton, 19 compounds were isolated and identified, Their structures were diterpene alkaloids and they were elucidated by various spectra to be as yunaconitine(1’), geniculatine A(2’), vilmorrianine A(3’), vilmorrianine C(4’), isotalatizidine(5’), 8-O-methyltalatisamine(6’), vilmoraconitine 10-hydroxytalatizamine(7’), neoline(8’), talatizamine(9’), condelphine(10’), geniculatine C(11’), 14-acetyltalatizamine(12’), 14-O-veratroylneoline(13’), geniculatine B(14’), aconitramine A(15’), vilmoraconitine(16’), 1-demethoxyyunaconitine(17’), vilmorrianine C(18’), yesoxine(19’). 4’, 12’, 15’, 17’, 16’-19’ were firstly isolated from the plant.From the dry root of ALotus corniculatus, 6 compounds were isolated and their structures were elucidated by various spectra to be as β-D-Glucopyranose, 2’,6’-diacetate 1-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate)(1’’), 2’-kamompf-erol-3-O-L-arabifuransi-de(2’’), 4-hydroxy crude drug(3’’), eupafolin(4’’), metyl kaempferol(5’’), gulate(6’’). 1’’ was a new compound, and 2’’, 3’’, 4’’, 6’’ were isolated from Lotus corniculatus for the first time.At last, chemical compositions and pharmacological studies of Aconitum chinense Paxton were reviewed, including 83 chemical constituents and their names, plant resources and biological activities.
