ObjectiveTo discuss the implantable venous access port on the clinical application in the chemotherapy of breast cancer, precautions and complications.MethodsIn November 2012 to February 2014,560 cases of breast cancer patients who received TFVAPs as the research object, including 558 cases of breast cancer patients through Jugular vein,2 cases of breast cancer patients through subclavian vein.ResultsUltrasound-guided internal jugular vein transfusion port implantation success rate 99.6%(558 cases through Jugular vein,2 cases through subclavian vein); intraoperative complications and no patients with arterial puncture, pneumothorax, air embolism; during chemotherapy there was no drug extravasation.ConclusionsThe ultrasound guided implantable venous access port for patients with breast cancer provides a new way to reduce repeated vein puncture pain, ensure transfusion safety, improve the quality of life of patients during chemotherapy. It is a rapid, simple, accurate, safe, effective, with larger the value of clinical application.
