| Objective: To explore the difference through the ultrasound features compared the patients of acute anterior circulation infarction and posterior circulation cerebral infarction, the difference of carotid artery imima-media thickness, location and, carotid stenosis in the acute anterior circulation and posterior circulation infarction. Methods: study for January 2015 to October 2015, during the continuous neurology hospital of the xinjiang uygur autonomous region people’s hospital, hospitalized patients with acute cerebral infarction based on the cerebral infarction area is divided into circulation infarction group and posterior circulation infarction group, before collecting their demographic data, clinical information, imaging and laboratory data, using the neck artery ultrasound technology, comparison between the two groups- thickness and plaques in the carotid artery location and the nature, the degree of carotid stenosis in the former, the differences between the posterior circulation. Results: Participants included anterior circulation infarction 141 cases, 65 cases of posterior circulation infarction of the carotid imima-media thickness in the anterior circulation infarction posterior circulation, P > 0.05,no statistical significance.Left common carotid artery plaque instability detected in 75cases(53.19%), posterior circulation group of unstable plaque detected 20 cases(30.77%),anterior circulation infarction of unstable plaque detection rate was significantly higher than that of posterior circulation, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant;anterior circulation infarction group unstable right common carotid artery plaque detected63 cases(44.68%), higher than that of posterior circulation group of 15 cases(23.08%), P< 0.05, the difference was statistically significant. In carotid stenosis in the comparison, the comparison between groups, P > 0.05, no statistical significance. Conclusion: Anterior and posterior circulation infarction group no difference between the plaque distribution, circulation in the bilateral common carotid artery before the incidence of unstable plaquethan posterior circulation infarction group. |
