| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of compound xuelian capsule on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) with Hanshi-syndrome. Methods:60 cases of RA patients with Hanshi-syndrome were selected as the research subjects and were divided into two groups randomly. 30 cases were selected as subjects treated by compound xuelian capsule for 12 weeks. 30 cases were selected as contrasts treated by Methotrexate and their periods of treatment were the same. Before and after treatment, the changes of the ACR20 curative effects, Traditional C hinese Medicine( TCM) syndrome and the levels of CRPã€ESR were observed and were dealed with statistics analysis. The examination of blood routine,urine routine, liver function,kidney function and electrocardiogram were taken as safety indices to determine whether the compound xuelian capsule having side effects. Results:1. The two groups of ACR20 of patients were all decreased after treatment,there has statistically significant(P<0.05), and the subject group decreased more significantly than the contrasts(P<0.05).2. To observed the two groups of patients with 2, 4, 8, 12 weeks TCM syndrome score changes, there were all decreased compared with the previous.Two groups of 2ã€4 weeks,there has statistically significant(P<0.05), indicating that the subject group better than the contrasts in the improvement of TCM syndromes with early. And there was not statistically significant with 8 weeks and 12 weeks(P>0.05). 3.After treating,the changes of the levels of CRP and ESR,there has no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05). 4.The side-effective rate of subjects(10.0%) was much lower than those of contrasts(33.3%)(P<0.05). Conclusion: Compound xuelian capsule can further improve the clinical effects,relieve the clinical symptoms and physical signs and improve the curative effects of TCM symptoms, so as to improve the quality of life of RA patients with Hanshi-syndrome. There is not obvious side effect of compound xuelian capsule. |
