| Objective: Through observing clinical efficacy comparison between modified Shenmai yin combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath plus conventional western medicine treatment and simple western medicine treatment group, and cases meet Qi and yin deficiency syndromefor senile primary hypertension were clinically observed.Efficacy and safety of Shengmai Yincombined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath for senile primary hypertension are scientifically evaluated, in order to provide a new theoretical basis for clinical and experimental studies in the treatment of senile primary hypertension. Methods: 90 cases selected from Geriatrics Department and Outpatient Department in Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1st Jan. 2015 to31 th Dec. 2015,which were senile patients with Grade-1 and Grade-2 qi and yin deficiency primary hypertension as research objects.Research objects were divided into three groups by adopting a stratified-randomnized control mehod. Control group was conventional western medicine, treatment group A was conventional western medicine plus Shengmai yin, treatment group B was conventional western medicine plus Shengmai yin combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath. General conditions and examnination indicators for patients in three groups before treatment were no statistically significant. The clinical efficacy of blood pressure level,Chinese medicine clinical symptom integral and related laboratory indicators for patients in three groups after different treatment methods for two weeks were observed. Results: The total effective rate for lowering blood pressure of control treatment, treatment group A and treatment group B were respectively 70.00%,83.33%and 86.67%. According to statistical analysis, the comparison of the total effective rate for lowering blood pressure for patients in three groups had significant difference(P=0.029<0.05),while the comparison between treatment group A and treatment group B had no difference(P=0.740>0.05). The overall efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of control treatment, treatment group A and treatment group B were respectively 73.33%, 86.67% and 93.33%. The difference of overall efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome for in three groups had statistically significant(P=0.000<0.01),Ridit test was performed for inter-treatment,which was different. The difference of blood pressure when day and night, average blood pressure all day in control group and two treatment groups after treatment had statistically significant(P<0.05). The efficacy of treatment group A and treatment group B was superior to the control group in improving blood lipid, blood flow and lowering heart rate(P<0.05). The efficacy of treatment group A and treatment group B was superior to the control group in improving the traditional chinese medicine of five sensations in chest, foot and palms, short breath, palpation and dry mouth(P<0.05);treatment group B could relieve better lassitude,fatigue,insomnia(P<0.05). Safety evaluation results in three groups:there was no adverse effects before and after treatment and during the treatment period in each group, and the statistical analysis of safety indicators before and after treatment in three groups had no difference(P>0.05).Tongue body in treatment group A and treatment group B improved better compared to before treatment. Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of modified Shengmai Yin combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath for Qi and yin deficiency syndrome senile primary hypertension is significant and safe, which is worthy of being generalized. |
