| Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of DSA-guided pulsed Radio-Frequency to nerve root combined with nerve blocking in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosisMethods:Selection total of 90 hospitalized patients with lumbar spinal stenosis from October 2014 to December 2015. These patients were randomly divided into three groups, there were 30 patients each group, I group only received nerve blocking; â…¡ group received DSA-guided pulsed Radio-Frequency to dorsal root ganglion combined with nerve blocking; â…¢ group received DSA-guided pulsed Radio-Frequency to nerve root combined with nerve blocking. Visual analogue scales(VAS), Satisfaction score and intermittent claudication distance were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:There was no significant difference of the VAS score before treatment among these three groups. The VAS score 1 month after treatment in group â… ã€1 monthã€3 monthsã€6 months after treatment in group â…¡ and group III significantly reduced than that before treatment. Compared to the other two groups, the VAS score in group III were significantly lower at each time point. The intermittent claudication distance increased in group â…¡ and â…¢,but group â…¢ is more significant than that of group II. The Satisfaction score in these three groups is 0.5ã€1.5ã€2.4. There were no adverse complications happened to those patients.Conclusion:DSA-guided pulsed Radio-Frequency to nerve root combined with nerve blocking is very effective in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. |
