The Clinical Effect Of Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction In Treating Elderly Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis(Deficiency Of Kidney Qi)

Objective: To observe and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction in the treatment of elderly degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(deficiency of kidney qi),and to provide medical evidence for clinical promotion of Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction.Methods: From December 2019 to December 2020,60 subjects who attended the Spine Surgery Clinic of Fuzhou Second Hospital due to degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis,met the standards,volunteered to participate in the research of the subject and signed an informed consent form were selected.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.Both groups used basic treatment methods,mainly including daily health education and low back muscle function exercise.The control group was additionally treated with celecoxib capsule and mecobalamin tablets after the meal,while the experimental group was additionally treated with Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction,with a course of 4 weeks.Observe and record the pain VAS score and lumbar JOA score of the two groups of patients before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,as well as the claudication distance and TCM syndrome score changes before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,evaluation of curative effect through TCM disease diagnosis and curative effect standards.The data obtained is statistically analyzed to obtain the result.Results: A total of 58 complete follow-up data were collected.1.The general baseline data(age,gender,course of the disease,and medical comorbidities)of the two groups before treatment and the baseline conditions of each observation index were compared between the groups.The results showed that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)and were comparable.2.The pain VAS scores and lumbar JOA scores of the two groups before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);for the two groups after 2weeks of treatment and After 4 weeks of treatment,the pain VAS score and lumbar JOA score were compared between the groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.The claudication distance and TCM syndrome score of the two groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the claudication distance and TCM syndrome score of the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment The differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the therapeutic effects of TCM syndromes between the two groups were compared after 4 weeks of treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Bushen Zhuangjin Decoction has a good short-term curative effect and superior safety in elderly patients with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(deficiency of kidney qi).2.It can effectively relieve pain and improve patients’ dysfunction.Compared with conventional western medicine,it can better improve the walking ability of patients.It can also improve patients’ waist and knee weakness,shortness of breath and fatigue,dizziness and tinnitus.It is worth clinical application.
