Object:Observe the clinical efficacy of radix notoginseng on the hidden blood loss after total knee arthroplasty.Methods:Perform the criteria of diagnosis, inclusion and exclusion in the patient choosing,70 cases with total knee arthroplasty were selected and collected from the second department of orthopedics in Fuzhou general hospital of Nanjing military command since October 2014 to October 2015, divided into control group and experimental group according to treatment order, random number table and the proportion of 1:1. Take the following treatment:control group:When preparing suture,tranexamic acid and sodium chloride injection (100ml:tranexamic acid 0.5g) would be used at a speed of 40-60 drops/min, dosage: 0.01g/kg. Experimental group:Do as the control group during the operation, however, take the radix notoginseng powder two weeks six hours after total knee arthroplasty, 1g/time,2 times/day, morning and lunch after meals. Two groups of patients were injected low molecular heparin calcium 5000 units in subcutaneous after 12 hours, from the next day, take the rivaroxaban 10mg,1 time/day, nightly at 22:00. After 24 hours, if hemoglobin was less than 70g/L, the provisional application three units of the same blood type with filtered red cells suspended, would be took slow. After further review of 2,7,12 days of hemoglobin, once below 70g/L, the application two units of the same blood type with filter suspended red blood cells, would be transfused. Recording of two groups of patients with gender, age, height, weight, the part of the sick knee, the distribution of two kinds of patients, and intraoperative blood loss, postoperative blood transfusion, drainage. Detected and recorded the first two days of preoperative and postoperative2,7,12days hemoglobin, hematocrit, prevent anemia, calculate the amount of the recessive red blood cell loss. Adverse postoperative symptoms and complications, recorde the action, analysis and evaluate its association with the study. Collect data and establish the database, use SPSS 18.0 statistical software for statistical analysis of difference between the two groups.Results:(1) General information on two groups of patients:gender, age, height, weight, the risk of knee-bit comparison, the patients distribution two types of disease and preoperative hematocrit, hemoglobin, had no significant statistical difference (P>0.05), and were comparable.(2) Experimental group after TKA hidden blood loss was (191.66±76.44) ml, and control group after TKA hidden blood loss was (233.39±90.95) ml.(3) The experimental group after TKA hidden blood loss percentage (49.63±10.24)%, however, the control group (68.27±10.46)%.Conclusions:Radix notoginseng could reduce hidden blood loss nearly 42ml after primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty.
