As we all know, Chinese is one of the most sophisticated languages in the world. As member of isolating languages, Chinese comes to be a more difficult one to learn among the overall2,000languages. First and foremost, one obstacle for foreign learners is Chinese character, which is regarded as a hard job while both teaching and learning. The paper will analyse on the pronunciation, meaning and side&head radicals of800Class-B Chinese characters concluded in the Chinese Language Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade outline by National committee for the HSK. Upon the analysis, we expect to find out a fit memorial method for Chinese learning, so as to make teaching and learning burdens eased and learning interests inspired, as well as Chinese language spread worldwide.The paper contains5chapters.Chapter1:Introduction. This chapter briefly introduces the history and achievements of Chinese language teaching, also introduces diversified memory methods adopted in present teaching practice. The chapter takes an overview of Class-B words and their impact on HSK intermediate test. The chapter also state the content, research methods, meaning,aim and framework of the paper.Chapter2:Memorial system of non-pictophonetic character. This chapter explains the memory method of non-pictophonetic characters in804Class-B Chinese characters.Chapter3:Memorial system of pictophonetic character. This chapter studys on the memory method of pictophonetic characters in804Class-B Chinese characters. This chapter makes up the paper’s core theories with chapter2.Chapter4:Solution of controversial Chinese characters. There is still no suitable memory methods for some of Class-B characters. We hope to find them out in further study.Chapter5:Adaption of Class-B Chinese characters in teaching. As for a lack of practice opportunity, the writer studies on the topic through teaching planning and simulated teaching.Chapter6:Conclusion. This chapter sums up the paper’s novality (new concepts) and insufficiency.
