| This is a translation project report on Chapter2and Chapter3of Issues andOptions in Language Teaching by H·H·Stern. Chapter2mainly discusses the design of thesecond language curriculum from the following four aspects: curriculum development,curriculum implementation, curriculum evaluation and curriculum research. And the mainideas of Chapter3are the definition and taxonomies of educational objectives. This reportconsists of four parts: the background of the report, including a brief introduction to theauthor and the text; a brief introduction to the report by listing its significance and translationdifficulties(English long sentences); Nida’ s back transformation theory and three-steptranslation as well as five translation skills: changing the order of sentence, adding, omitting,conversion of word class and conversion of passive voice; and the summary of translationexperience and unsolved problems in the project. |
