A Study On Unauthorized Chinese Characters In Duhuang Literature Of China Bookstore Collection

China bookstore in more than half a century of time has collected a batch of Dunhuang literature, and has carefully chosen a part of those literature which are valuable, whose characteristics are bright, to publish in a book, named Dunhuang literature of china bookstore. There are many unauthorized Chinese characters in this book, recording the real usage of the middle period, containing more abundant research value.This paper is based on the Chinese literature of China bookstore collection, with the help of reference books, such as Shuowen Jiezi, Yu pian, Ganlu Zishu, Wu jing Wenzi, Jiujing Ziyang, Longkan Shoujing, Hanyu Dazidian and Dunhuang Suzidian, to determine the standard and make a form of unauthorized Chinese characters. This study contains three parts:the first part is to classify these unstandardized variant Chinese characters on the basis of the previous theoretical studies and their actual situation; the second part is to summarize the characteristics of these unauthorized Chinese characters, which are named arbitrariness, systemic, and mark; The third part is to distinguish the difficult characters in manuscripts, make independent analysis and judgment. Solving some difficult glyph and mixed glyph of identification problem with the basic means, such as examining the glyph and Combining with the context meaning inference.
