Study On Publication Activities Of New Chinese Literature Of The Three Kuomintang Clique's Publishing Houses(1930-1937)

The paper takes the publishing activities of the Kuomintang Clique's publishing houses which named the Hanxue Bookstore?the Party Bookstore and the Zhengzhong Bookstore from1930 to 1937 as the research object.The main goal is to clarify its main characteristics?the principle types and values of the new literature publications and comb its dominant publication tendency in such aspects as politics?culture?literature and other aspects through analysis it's publications(books and journals).The substance of the paper is to clarify basic features and performance gain and loss,and analyze its reason of three Kuomintang clique's publishing houses.The paper also try to fill a vacancy on this part in the study of modern literature and explore some valuable or distinctive writers?works and types of new literature and investigate the relationship between the new literature activities of the KMT's publishing houses?other aspects(such as political thought trend and literature trend)and the KMT's political and cultural positions and literature and art policy.And on this basis to preliminary evaluation the KMT publishing house gain and loss at the field of new literature published.This paper found that the three press publishing activities have very complex nature and the backgrounds and their new literature publication category are more various and can not treat as the same.Firstly,those press are all faithfully practice the KMT's political and cultural position and go full the party propaganda and party education.Such as cooperated with Chiang kai-shek's new life movement and published related literature books,as another sample,in the anti-communist literature(the so-called "bandits literature")and anti the left-wing literature(such as anti-proletarian literature)also spare no effort.Secondly,in opposition to his humorous leisure literature,advocating nationalism literature and publishing the anti-Japanese and anti-imperialist themes of literature works very hard,also has a result,and significantly promote the 30 s nationalism literary thinking.In the moment of national crisis and the national to be exciting,the above political position and literary proposition are in conformity with the requirements of The Times,also have positive significance.Meanwhile,we also should have a split view on the nationalist literature and art they advocated and supported.To service to the Kuomintang dictatorship rule while on the run to nationalist slogans cover and replace the classism of the left-wing party with nationalism literature and art.It also includes lots of newliterature works composed by a large number of writers who do not represent the KMT and named pure patriotism.At the end,The new literature publication also including academic literature theoretical criticism,translation and the life literature which reflect the anguish and ideal,love and life of youth,and large works that attended to reflect the sufferings of the people's livelihood and social darkness.This kind of "social problems literature" and "people's livelihood literature" most can represent the KMT achievements and contributions in the new literature publication.
