This is a translation project report of Climate Change Education :Preparing Future and Current Business Leaders. The source text is a workshop summary, published on the National Academics Press in 2014. It is based on discussions at a workshop on climate change education for future business leaders,convened by the Board on Science Education of the National Research Council(NRC). The purpose of the workshop is to explore the role that business schools could and should play in preparing future corporate leaders for the challenges and opportunities that climate change will pose. This report summarizes insightful comments of the steering committee members, presenters, and workshop participants,which would assist policy-makers and university managers in China to better understand and handle climate change education in higher education institutions. This translation can be divided into four parts including project introduction, research background, translation difficulties and methods and summary. The text category theory of Peter Newmark has adopted as the guidance in this translation. His translation theory features literal translation and free translation. A variety of translation methods ranging from amplification to division has exercised in order to translate naturally, accurately and effectively. As a typically research report,translation theory and methods applied in this project would provide some references for translating texts of this kind.
