| Land reform is a historic great change. It died out feudal autocracy which existed in thousands of years. It is the key to win the democratic revolution for the Communist Party of China. Land reform education is a kind of political mobilization activity which serves for land reform practice. It provides ideological guarantee for the completion of land reform. Not only does it play a fight vanguard role in the period of the democratic revolution, but also it provides guidance for today’s socialist new rural construction.This paper aims to research the land reform education activities of Beiman Liberated Area which puts the Marxist Materialism as a guide. It uses the methods of literature analysis and the multi-disciplinary methods. Under the guidance of previous land reform experience, Beiman Branch carried out land reform education timely under the leadership of the Northeast Bureau according to the unceasing changes of the CPC central committee land policy in order to strengthen the new regime of Beiman liberated area. It can eliminate farmers’ thought disorder in Beiman liberated area and guide them to see the real appearance of the Kuomintang. It can make them understand the CPC’s principles and policies correctly and support its leadership. At the same time, land reform education can be carried out for the young students from the landlords and the rich peasants. Not only can change their prejudice against the communist party of China, but also it can cultivate the new strength for Beiman liberated area cadres and construct it better. Though Beiman farmers and young students are different classes, they are lack of scientific understanding for the communist party of China and also have seriously wrong understanding for land reform. Therefore, the communist party of China decides to focus on improving their understanding of the necessity for land reform and makes them fully understand the party’s land policies and guidelines.And it can guide them to establish correct class position, encourage them to take part in land reform for constructing Beiman liberated area. For farmers, because their educated level is lower and they are the direct beneficiaries and the main bodies of land reform, the communist party of China has used the ways to organize the masses to participate in the complaining conference, visit the poor farmers as well as set up the night school when carrying out education on them. For young students, CPC has carried out the classroom education, encouraged them to participate in the social practice and made them acquire the real exercise in the specific actual struggle of land reform. On the basis of describing the contents of Beiman land reform education systematically, this paper summarizes that land reform education of Beiman liberated area between 1946 and 1948 has thefollowing characteristics. It needs the combining of the party’s leadership and the masses independent practice. It also needs to start from the reality of the masses ideology and inspire peasant class consciousness as the key point. It is closely related to the northeast liberation war situation. This paper has also dissected that this job has positive significance for Beiman land reform practice, Beiman farmers thought liberation, northeast liberation war and other liberated areas land reform education. Land reform education also has some limitations. It causes that Beiman farmers are afraid of being struck into the landlord class and give rise to fear of the rich. However, the defects cannot obscure the virtues. Land reform education in Beiman liberated area still has the important enlightenment for today’s socialist new rural education. Ideological and political education is the lifeline of the rural work. The modernization of people should be regarded as the important breakthrough for building the socialist new rural. |
