A Report Of Chinese Translation Of Economic Feasibility Studies Of BTL And Lignocellulosic Ethanol Production Plants In Thailand (Chapter1-3)

This is a translation report based on the first to the third chapters of the research report Economic Feasibility Studies of BTL and Lignocellulosic Ethanol Production Plants in Thailand. This research report mainly concerns the increasingly tense situation of energy resources and explores the economic feasibility of new fuel production. The contents the translator dealt with mainly introduces the production method and procedure of two kinds of new biology fuel, and analyzed its economic feasibility of production in Thailand from the perspective of economics by using cash flow analysis modeling.Guided by the text function classification translation theory put forward by Peter Newmark, the translator classified the translation project text as informative text. According to the text features, the translator mainly applied communicative translation strategy to direct this translation practice. As required by the features of the selected material, the translator will also try to ensure the faithfulness and fluency of the translation version by taking advantage of various translation techniques. The aim of this report is to study the translation strategy and method of science text.
