From the 80s of the 20th century, Task-based learning had just appeared on the stage of language teaching and through more than 20 years of development is ripe. This paper starting from the analysis of task-based learning, combining the features of teaching oral Chinese as a second language at elementary levels, analyses a case study of teaching oral Chinese through task-based learning. The examples used in this paper come from the internship of the author herself of open classes at the international college of Zhejiang University of Chinese medicine, I really hope to provide something meaningful result and meaningful information for future follow-up studies.In four chapters this paper explains in details how to unite task-based learning and class teaching of oral Chinese. The first chapter is the introduction, it describes the origin of this work, the results of previous research and the significance of the present paper. The second chapter gives a definition of task-based learning, defines its main features and its theory and the utility of task-based learning in classroom teaching of oral Chinese. The third chapter describes how to design a lesson on the basis of task-based learning and the describes how the author designed a case study during her internship at Zhejiang university of Chinese medicine. The fourth is the conclusions, it summarizes the conclusions the the reflections on the case study, lists the inadequacies of this paper and the future prospects of the research.
