| Drug addiction become increasingly serious international problems,because it danger to the individuals and society.Drug addiction has an extremely complex mechanism of action, it is mainly characterized by recurrent compulsive drug use. In clinical research, the most important reason of addicts relapse is because of psychological compulsive dependence on drugs, and the known is that the motivation is a key factor to change the people’s behavior,which also be driven by motivation,therefore, it is extremely important to research the drug motivation for drugs addiction.Based on previous literature review and clinical researches, we propose to death anxiety,stress, coping, self-concept and to explore the formation mechanism of drug motivation.This study used questionnaires to investigate, taking into account the limitations of the previous questionnaires content, as well as the cognitive of the drug abusers.With the research purpose, the study designed this simple coping style scale, at the same time, we used the Life Event Scale(LES), Death Anxiety Scale, brief versions of Tennessee Self-Concept Scale(TSCS) and Drug Abuse Treatment Motivation Questionnaire to investigation. The subjects of the research were the drug addicts in prison-based treatment program.The results are as follows:(1) Based on the reference literature and related scales,we formed a brief Coping Style Scale included 20 projects, a total of four dimensions:self-construction, positively response, social support and avoid. The total scale Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.759, and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of each subscales ranged between 0.553 to 0.739. The CFA showed that the structure of the Coping Style Scale was rational: χ~2 / df = 1.836, p<0.001, RMR = 0.103, GFI = 0.868,CFI = 0.847, IFI = 0.852, TLI = 0.817, RMSEA = 0.066.The composite reliability coefficient of the four latent variables are from 0.510 to 0.724, indicating the scale tomeet the requirements validity and can reflect the drug addicts;(2) for drug abusers,death anxiety can directly effect on the drug treatment motivation,but also through the intermediary role of self-concept affects drug treatment motivation;(3) the mediation of self-concept influencing the stress predicting the treatment motivation of drug abusers,and the treatment were significant.(4) self-concept directly predict drug treatment motivation,as well as the mediation of coping styles influencing the self-concept predicting the drug treatment motivation;(5) the mature coping strategies affect drug treatment motivation, but immature coping for detoxification motivation does not have an impact on.In summary, this research investigated the death anxiety, stress, self-concept and coping style to integrated study the drug treatment motivation. Not only can understand the basic situation of death anxiety,coping styles,stress and self concept, but also studies death anxiety, stress may predict drug treatment motivation through the mediation role of self-concept, enriched the mechanism of drug treatment motivation; and then self-concept may be able to direct prediction drug motivation.it is different effect between mature coping styles and immature coping mechanism for drug influence motivation. The results could be considered as messages for the clinical workers,when advertised the harm of drug addicts on the public,namely with working on control drug,the propaganda we used could aroused the death anxiety that has a impact of drug motivation. It also provided a theoretical basis for counseling and guidance to the drug addicts, by managing the pressure and improving self-concept. |
