Foreign literature into the Chinese book experienced a long process from scratch, fromcoarse to fine, which provides important material for junior high school student in literacy andhumanities. However, the current selected works of foreign of foreign literature are stillunreasonable, in the geographical distribution of selected text, Asian literature, Chineseliterary works selected is too small, and never set foot in South America and African literature,the world literature is not complete. The selected contents genre is rich, but too muchcrowding out the space of literary works. Confusing the different functions of Chinese andother course, the literary and classical of selected text needs to be strengthened. In addition,the arrangement system of foreign works is chaotic, and lack of systematic and so on.Based on the study of foreign literature in the Chinese book, and a glimpse of its historyand the process of change in the school textbooks, and provide some advice on inadequaciesof school works. The first chapter focus on the middle school Chinese teaching curriculumchanges. The second to a maximum number of people to use the language in junior middleschool textbooks, for example, analyzes the current situation of foreign language textbooks inliterature, with vertical and horizontal comparison, highlighting the edition of the languageteaching originality. The third chapter analyzes the school and characteristic of languageteaching in foreign literature organized system, and pointed out its shortcomings. Suggestionsfor middle school foreign teaching in a selection of literary works in Chapter IV.
