Young University Teachers Professional Ethics Present Situation Analysis And Countermeasures

Nowadays, with the constant development of the socialist market economy, the scale of colleges is expanding in our country, the structure of teachers’age is in the adjustment, especially more young teachers work in college and become the main force of college teachers. The ministry of education calculated that in 2010 the number of college teachers who is under the age of 40 has reached 843,300 and the proportion to whole college faculty is 62.78%. A total of 104 colleges and universities in anhui province in 2010,1.45 million college students, has 49298 full-time teachers, young teachers under the age of 40,33487 people, accounted for 67.9% of the province’s colleges and universities teachers.Young teachers in colleges are not only for the teaching task, but also in daily life directly have a great role in the students’ outlook on life, values, and moral values. The 18th national congress of the communist party of China put forward to boost the moral quality of our citizens, strengthen the construction of professional ethics. Teachers as a sacred profession, it deserves more attention to improve the quality of professional ethics, young university teachers are important parts of the professional ethics construction in colleges. During the construction of socialist modernization in our country and the circumstances of market economy and reform and opening up, under the background of economic globalization and diversified value orientation, moral values of young university teachers in a certain degree of impact, part of the young teachers in colleges appeared some inconsistent with the value on professional ethics, these phenomena have great influence on the development of the higher education in China, the construction of education environment in colleges, students’ healthy growth, the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and the construction of a harmonious society in our country. Therefore, it’s the basic guarantee of fully implement the party’s education policy that strengthen the construction of young university teachers’ professional ethics. It’s one of the important conditions that have the level of education reach a new high. It’s the important impetus that promotes the development of college education career.In this paper, by analyzing the group characteristics of young university teachers and the questionnaire survey about" the professional ethics status of young university teachers ", we have a preliminary understanding on the present situation of young university teachers professional ethics. As a whole, the present situation of professional ethics of young university teachers is good, is constantly advanced and in developing.Most young teachers concerned the affairs at home and abroad, and their overall political stance is very firm. They adhere to the socialist road with Chinese characteristics and the development of the socialist market economy. In the teaching activities, most of the teachers are keen on teaching. They hope to realize their own value of life by teaching. During giving classes, they can actively preparing, search for information, answer questions to help students and correct students’homework on time. However,in the process of college education development, construction of young university teachers professional ethics also exist some problems, individual young teachers on teachers’ professional identity is not strong, consider teaching as a means of making a living; Individual young teachers in colleges and universities, eager for quick success and instant benefits,practise fraud, and academic utilitarian is serious, not play a role as an example to the teachers should take;Lack of supervision and examination mechanism of young university teachers professional ethics, professional ethics education concepts backward, etc., these caused a certain influence in the healthy development of the college education, has adverse effect on the students’ healthy growth.Through the analysis of present situation and the reasons, in this paper, the strengthening to foster young university teachers professional ethics put forward several proposals, aims to further improve the level of young teachers in colleges and universities of professional ethics, improve the overall quality of the contingent of young teachers.
