In the new period, the proportion of young teachers in colleges and universities is rising; they are becoming the main force of college teaching and even the backbone. However, in the period of social transformation, both at home and abroad, some bad thoughts, such as money worship, hedonism, individualism, impact people’s inner world, changing people’s value concept, moral and psychological state, it also has a negative impact on teachers which should not be underestimated. Teacher is the foundation for the development of education; teacher’s virtue is the soul of teacher’s quality. As the young teachers in colleges and universities, they not only need to be superb in the profession, but also need to be noble morally. But at present, a lot of young college teachers have moral problems, and some adverse effects cannot be ignored in universities, it is urgent to solve the problems. Therefore, it is an urgent task to highlight the professional ethics development of young teachers in colleges and universities in the new period, which is also the need of building a contingent of high quality teachers.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction part, discusses the origin of the problem and research significance, research review, research ideas, research methods and other four aspects of the problem. The second part is mainly related to the main concepts definition and discuss the morality and professional ethics, professional ethics of teachers and professional ethics of teachers in colleges and universities and define and discuss the scope of the young teachers, explore the characteristics of young teachers, especially for college teachers professional moral characteristics and young teachers professional ethics characteristics. The third part analyzes the present situation and the causes of the professional ethics of the university teachers in our country in the new period. In regard to the present situation, we should realize that, under the high attention of the Party and the country, the young teachers’ professional ethics of our country is in good condition, but there are still some problems. These problems are mainly concentrated in: fuzzy ideals and beliefs, sense of responsibility is not strong, weak consciousness of education, teach style impetuous, the paragon of virtue is not enough. The main reasons include: the impact of multiple social environment, ineffective implementation of national policies, the management and supervision mechanism of colleges and universities is not perfect, the young teachers’ personal accomplishment is not enough. In the fourth part, in view of the problems existing in the young college teachers’ professional ethics puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. One is that actively create a good environment for young teachers’ professional ethics construction; second, countries should strengthen the enforcement of the policy; third, colleges and universities to improve supervision and management mechanism; four is to strengthen their own morality cultivation of young teachers. Ideals and beliefs, sense of responsibility is not strong, weak consciousness of education, teach style impetuous, the paragon of virtue is not enough. The main reason, social mufti values impact, enforcement of the national policy is not enough, and the moral evaluation mechanism is not perfect, lack of self cultivation of young teachers in many aspects. The forth part gives suggestions with regard to the moral problems of young teachers in colleges and universities, that is first to actively create a sound environment for moral development of young teachers; second the nation needs to intensify policy execution; third colleges and universities need to perfect supervision mechanism and fourth young teachers need to strength professional quality.
