As the center of the study named Current Situation and Factors Model Research of Our Country’s Digital Divide In Education, basing on the study of digital divide connotation, factors and measure index, we build the measure framework of digital divide, in addition, we design measure instrument for educational digital divide.By using questionnaire, we conduct investigations to schools, teachers and students who come from seven provinces of the country, we gain the current situation of digital divide that exits in schools, teachers and students. Furthermore, we select the major factors that affect digital divide, basing on these factors, we use interpretative structural modeling method to build factors model of educational digital divide, and propose strategies that narrow the digital divide in education.The thesis consists of six parts:(1) Introduction. To expound how the digital divide generates and progress andthe content, the thinking way, the sense and the methods of the study.(2) Literature review. This part summaries the digital divide research status digital divide connotation, digital divide factors and digital divide measure index from domestic and foreign relevant research.(3) The construction of measure index framework for digital divide in education.This chapter will construct measure index framework for digital divide in education.from school, teacher and student at three levels, basing on digital divide affecting-factors, which will lay foundation for the design of the digital divide measurement tools.(4) The current situation research of our country’s digital divide in education.This chapter mainly conduct investigations to schools, teachers and students who come from seven provinces of the country, by using digital divide measurement tool previously designed, basing on data processing and analysis, we will learn the current situation of digital divide in education.(5) Factor model and strategy research of digital divide in education. By analyzing the current situation of digital divide in education, we select the majorfactors that affect digital divide, basing on these factors, we use interpretative structural modeling method to build factors model of educational digital divide, and propose strategies that narrow the digital divide in education.(6) Summary. This chapter contains the research achievements and innovations,as well as its shortages aiming for improvement for subsequent study.On the one hand this study will help to improve the theoretical system for the digital divide in education and reveals the current situation and forming process of digital divide in education. On the other hand, because of development of the education informatization is not balanced, especially between the east and west urban and rural areas, which exacerbated the reality of educational inequality, this study may provide decision basis for the relevant departments in promoting balancingdevelopment of regional education informatization, It also will bring some revelation and reflection for personnel training in information age.
