Under the background of the in-depth advancement of education informatization and the rapid development of information technology, online learning has become a new learning method. This learning method is of great significance to the balanced development and modernization of education. However, existing studies have shown that the digital divide in the information society will lead to further social differentiation and inequality. Then,in the field of education,is there a digital divide in online learning,a learning activity carried out with information technology as the carrier? If there is a digital divide, what are the specific manifestations? Are there differences in the digital divide among students with different family capital? If so,what household capital factors contributed to these differences? How does household capital affect the digital divide? These questions constitute the main content of this research. This paper uses quantitative research methods.Firstly, draw on relevant literature and questionnaire self-compiled scales, and conduct reliability and validity tests;secondly, send questionnaires online to invite junior high school students to answer independently and anonymously and automatically collect them;thirdly, use SPSS22.0statistical software to analyze data.Descriptive analysis,chi-square test analysis, nonparametric test, binary logistic regression, multiple linear regression analysis were applied on the 864 valid data. Finally, the results of the data analysis were combined with Bourdieu's ‘cultural reproduction theory 'to summarize.Through the author's research,it is found that: first, there is three-level digital divide in the online learning process of junior high school students, which is specifically manifested in the access, usage, and use effect of junior high school students' online learning;second, there are significant differences between junior high school students with different family capital in online learning;third, family capital has a significant impact on junior high school students' online learning, among them, family body form cultural capital and object form cultural capital have a significant positive impact, and family system form cultural capital has a negative impact;fourth, parents' attitude towards the online learning attitude has a significant positive impact on children's online learning attitudes and skills;fifth, there is a significant positive impact on different aspects of online learning of junior high school students. From these conclusions, the digital divide in the online learning process of junior high school students is not conducive to educational equity. The invisible influence of family cultural capital and the Matthew effect in the digital divide will further exacerbate this inequality. In this regard, taking measures in terms of economic investment, concept change, supervision and guidance may help bridge the digital divide, help students achieve technological empowerment, and achieve balanced development of education.
