Analysis On Educational Alienation

As there is a growing emphasis on education among modern societies, there is also an increasing prevalence of criticism on education systems.With the deepening of the education reform, a lot of new problems have arisen from the rapid development of the education industry. This phenomenon is named "education alienation" by scholars. Education alienation is observed during the educational process, it is also represents a social phenomenon, its existence can be traced back to economical and social root causes.The research on the problems associated with educational alienation focuses on exploring the causes of the so-called education alienation, and identifying solutions along the path to diminish its effects. This paper attempts to define the concept of "education alienation", to analyze and digest the underlying causes of educational alienation from social aspect, educational system itself and human aspects. In depth analysis on social causes reveals that lagging social productivity level is associated with educational alienation; the human influence on the lack of implementation of educational system can also cause educational alienation; the potential effects on social values is the secular attributes to educational alienation. The concept, model and managing philosophy of the education system itself are the contributing factors to the development of educational alienation. The analysis on people itself reveals that our change toward a more materialistic society, and the evolution of our personal values of life has led to the alienation of education. Lastly, we propose solutions to diminish the effects of educational alienation. Analyzing the possibilities and limitations of the solutions, and discuss the methods to solve educational alienation by improving external factors and optimizing education itself.
