Semantic Expression Of Conflict Relation Of Map Symbols Based On Ontology

The map symbol conflict is an unreasonable relationship caused by the destruction of the symbolic rules after the symbolization of the map.The generation of map symbol conflict has some relationship with the semantic rules of map symbol.The map symbol is a visualization symbol for map drawing,which changes the spatial entity into a compound symbol with the established basic symbol composition according to certain semantic rules to achieve the purpose of map symbolization.The semantic relationship between real geography is an important source of symbolic rules after digitization.These rules affect the topological relations and regular relationships between map symbols.Through the development of a realistic spatial relationship between the objective elements of the real world,and as a basis for the development of the rules of space conflict judgment.In order to realize the semantic representation of the conflict of map symbols,the concept of ontology is introduced in the map symbol system,which mainly aims at the spatial conflict between map symbols after mapping of map symbols.Taking the basic geographic information data of 1: 50,000 countries as an example,a symbolic ontology model SO = <SF,ST,SP,SRU,SRL is designed to cover the spatial features of spatial cognition,symbolic features and spatial semantic relations.The semantic relations between symbols and symbols are used to define the conceptual properties of each symbol,and semantic rules can be constructed to express the semantic relations between different symbols.From the map symbol itself,taking into account the spatial characteristics of the map symbols and ontology attribute characteristics,analysis and summary of the type of symbol conflict,to determine the map symbol semantic rules.Based on the ontology library,SWRL is used to compile the rules of natural language description.The Horn-like rules are used to set the condition of condition judgment in Atom,and the reasoning rules are stored in Imp.Through the construction of the symbolic ontology model and the semantic rules between symbols,we establish a sample symbol conflict detection example system,and find a new method to solve the conflict of map symbols from the existing graphical conflict resolution process and method.The semantic rules of symbols are described by using the rules language SWRL language,thus providing the theoretical basis for symbol conflict detection.
