The Research And Implementation Of Logging While Drilling Interpretation Expert System

With the development of oil and gas resources industry,exploration targets increasingly complex,difficult to increase the stability of the old oilfields,oil and gas exploration emerging new technical problems in new oilfields.Logging While Drilling technology as a new comprehensive logging technology,by mastering the engineering technical indexes of the complicated well and the information of the formation of the drill bit in time.It can provide real time and effective assistant decision for production.The traditional logging interpretation is done after the completion of drilling well logging,and then processing the log data,the log interpretation experts to explain the results of the log data.For the traditional well logging,there are some assistant software which have been well applied in the domestic and overseas.In China,the research and use of logging while drilling is still in its early stage,its related tools and interpretation software and other related applications are mostly imported,the price is expensive,it is difficult to popularize.Therefore,the paper based on the research of real-time logging interpretation and evaluation technology,and combined with the artificial intelligence expert system technology,develop the system dedicated to the interpretation of logging data.The system takes the logging data interpretation as the goal,and takes the well log interpretation knowledge management as the core.It contains four main modules including data access,knowledge representation and maintenance,system reasoning and result display.The data access module is the data interface,which realizes the analysis of the related well log and the interaction between the database and the dynamic link library.Knowledge representation management part adopts reasonable and practical method to complete the domain knowledge representation and storage,and realizes the convenient and flexible management of knowledge base,through the continuous expansion of the knowledge base,to improve the intelligence of the system.Reasoning part from the known facts,use of the knowledge base of knowledge,by the reverse reasoning mechanism,derive the explain and evaluation results.The last display module can process the destination file which becoming more intuitive,that help logging interpretation staff better decision analysis.System realize logging data aided interpretation and the intelligent management of logging interpretation knowledge,the system can be auxiliary logging interpretation staff make decisions,also to complex knowledge in a wide range of planning and management.The system is designed and developed according to software engineering specifications,select the VS of the WINDOWS as development environment,has a friendly interaction interface,basically achieve the design goals and requirements.Tests show that the system can basically meet the needs of the interpretation of the logging while drilling and the needs of the field staff.
