With the development of society,real estate and architectural material industry have become the backbone of social development.The demand for cement,which is indispensable for real estate and architectural material industry,has been increasing both in domestic and overseas.Hence,higher-quality cement and high efficient production technology are important challenges in cement industry.Currently,the most important tasks in cement industry are both optimal production structure and technological innovation of cement production.Base on these two important tasks,new dry cement production process and optimal control strategy emerge as the times require.Decomposition technology of decomposing furnace,which is the core part of firing system,is the primary factor to determine cement quality.In decomposition system,carbonate existing in raw materials can be decomposed more completely by keeping stable and moderate temperature in the process of coal combustion and heat transfer between gas and solid,which ensures the calcination on the rails in rotary kiln.Therefore,keeping stable and moderate temperature in decomposing furnace play an important role for the whole firing system.By investigation for cement clinker production line in Shijiazhuang and combining with actual situation of the control system of this production line,we find the main factors of affecting the temperature in decomposing furnace,i.e.raw materials flow,injecting coal quantity and tertiary air.Meanwhile,injecting coal quantity has been regarded as the most significant factor influencing on the temperature of decomposing furnace exit.In this paper,by combining expert system and fuzzy control,especially super robustness of fuzzy control,we implement stable control for the temperature of decomposing furnace.Meanwhile,expert diagnostic system is built with the help of collecting relevant data and the rich experience of operators.According to the expert diagnostic system,we can find the production problems appearing in various parts of decomposing furnace timely and effectively.In addition,deliver alarm and solutions can be provided at the same time.Therefore,the control of decomposing furnace can get a further promotion by expert diagnostic system.This topic is a practical application in engineering domain.We implement data interchange scenario based on OPC technology and DCS data interchange program,and the software program of control station is designed according to the data derived fromcement clinker production line.Through the analysis and program test of the collected data,We make the stable control of the decomposing furnace.
