| The quality of water source is directly related to the daily life of human beings. However, with the accumulation of time, endogenous pollution of water source becomes more and more serious. The acquisition of the representative sediment samples is very important for studying water quality and establishing protective measures. However, there still are some problems existing in the methods for obtaining sediment samples, such as large disturbance, low automation, and low efficiency, which will greatly restrict the sample acquisition. Therefore, a set of monitor system with high automation is needed to be developed to cooperate with sampler to obtain representative sediment samples efficiently.In this paper, based on the requirements of sediment sampling, the vibrational sediment sampler and its monitor system are researched and designed. First of all, structure of the sampler and function of the supervising system are designed in this paper. According to sampler’s structure and the actual demand, functions of upper and lower computer in the monitor system are designed respectively. Secondly, according to the overall design, monitor system are developed and implemented. The development process of monitor system include type selection, circuit construction of hardware and development of the monitor software. Then, according to the problems found in the actual use, this paper has given the summary and analysis. As well, corresponding improvement for sampler’s structure and monitor system is also given in this paper. The development process of the hand-held terminal monitor system based on Qt is introduced specifically, including the design of system function, the adjustment of hardware structure and the development of software. Finally, the instruments are tested. The sampler and its monitor system based on Lab VIEW are able to get better results in the shallow water, which proves the validity of the design. The hand-held system has the advantage of easy carrying, comprehensive monitor, and low power consumption, which will be helpful in the long-time sampling process. Besides, the improved sampler and its monitor system show great effectiveness in the deep water, which further verifies the research in this paper. |
