Research And Design Of Fixed Fire Control System For A Chemical Tank Farm

The most important task of fire protection engineering is to safeguard the life security of people and the safety property of country and community.The fixed fire extinguishing system is installed inside or around the building,and it plays an important role in fire accident through finding the fire information accurately and putting fire out effectively.For a long time,fire extinguishing for open space,oil tank and fire detection of large space not only have been the worldwide difficult problem,but also have become the competitive and hot research project between foreign and domestic field of fire fighting.Firstly,the research in fixed fire suppression system has been introduced,and a detailed introduction of temperature-sensing fiber foam extinguishing system and image based extinguishing system has been presented in this thesis.Secondly,a temperature-sensing fiber system is designed which is installed on the top of oil tank to enable prompt fire detection and to play a crucial role for initial fire fighting as well.Then,in fixed fire suppression system,the positive fire detection is used that combined with image based fire detection,automatic positioning technology,and fire canon technology with numerical control.It can works during the whole process of the initial,middle and later stage of fire development.In the meantime,it can find timely fire,and has low false rate of fire detection,and make fire scene visualization.The system contains not only the spray extinguishing system which effectively put early fire out and but also image based extinguishing system which play a key role in cooling effect with the development of fire process.Thus,the problems in open space can be solved which traditional fire alarm system cannot work well.Finally,the fire extinguishing system in this thesis is successfully applied to oil tank in a factory second extension project.
