Grinding burn is a common thermal damage phenomenon in the bearing grinding process which directly affects the service life of bearing rings.Bearing rings as the core part of the equipment,its technical level and product quality has a significant impact on equipment performance and quality.The grinding burn is due to a large number of bearing grinding heat generated which didn’t receive timely treatment in the process,resulting cracks in the surface and reducing hardness and residual stress.Many factors grinding temperature,including the degree wheel rotation,work piece speed,grinding depth and grinding fluid flow and so on.Therefore,the study of the grinding zone temperature has very important significance.The purpose of the study is to avoid grinding burn and improve productivity.This paper based on grinding temperature data,establish a grinding burn temperature prediction model to predict the grinding zone temperature changes,so that you can advance warning,by changing the process to reduce the grinding temperature,to avoid grinding burn,reduce the generation of grinding burn.This paper mainly analyzes the process of bearing rings,the mechanism of grinding burn,the temperature in the grinding zone.Combined with the actual situation,determine the specific monitoring object and experimental scheme.The main work can be summarized as the following:1.Starting from the analysis of the bearing rings processing technology,introduce grinding heat and grinding burn;analysis of the mechanism of grinding burn,the relationship between grinding burn and grinding temperature,and grinding zone temperature distribution.2.According to the actual situation and theoretical analysis determined with infrared temperature sensor to detect grinding temperature by monitoring grinding sparks.Select the HE-LD sensor and set up an infrared online temperature monitoring system to obtain experimental data.3.According to the analysis,establish an autoregressive moving average of grinding burn temperature prediction model;describe the theoretical basis to determine the model parameters.According to the experimental data to determine the specific grinding temperature predictive model,and verified the applicability of the model.Studies have shown that by infrared temperature sensor measure the grinding sparks temperature is viable.It is feasible to establish the temperature prediction model with the data got through the infrared online temperature measuring system.This detection method can be used to predict grinding temperature to detect grinding burn and avoid it by changing grinding conditions.
