Energy and environmental protection are two major issues facing human development. With the continuous progress of science and technology and the rapid development of economy, the types and the production of rubber products are increasing rapidly. A large amount of waste rubber is a threat to the environment, but it's also a kind of recyclable resources.Under the situation of the shortage of rubber resources in our country, it's crucial to study the high value utilization of waste rubber.Compared with other waste rubber processing methods, pyrolysis method has the advantages of energy saving,environmental protection,good economic benefit and so on, it's a research subject that with a bright practical prospect.This paper describes the common methods of waste rubber, and proposed a new method for the conversion of waste resources. Based on the advantages of microwave heating and the limitations of various devices, a set of continuous microwave pyrolysis equipment for waste rubber was designed. The equipment used in tunnel kiln structure.According to the microwave pyrolysis mechanism and the influencing factors of cracking, and combining with the design experience of the small experimental device,it finally determined the design scheme of the combination of the non axis spiral feed,drag chain, and multi group microwave generator.Aiming at the complex characteristics of microwave transmission and reflection,this paper based on the theory of electromagnetic field, and combined with the HFSS software to simulate the design of the pyrolysis equipment.In the optimization design of the waveguide structure, the new mode improves the energy transfer efficiency.Electric field distribution can be obtained by establishing the solid model of the pyrolysis equipment, and the results show that the energy is in a state of uniformdistribution. Choke simulation analysis was carried out on the cavity, by using two sets of metal baffle to have a resonant filtering effect, the microwave leakage of the equipment is effectively suppressed.Experiments show that the waste rubber pyrolysis equipment is of large capacity and can be continuous production. It has the advantages of stable operation, good cracking effect, energy saving, environmental protection and so on. The relevant design and conclusions provide a reference for the further research of microwave cracking equipment in the future.
