In recent years,China continues to increase the investment in main industry of petroleum machinery,at the same time, the degree of attention to peripheral equipment of oil drilling rig is insufficient seriously, too little investment causes the research level of the automatic operating system of drill pipe more backward compared with developed countries, the overall is still in its infancy, but the market demand is very strong.Drill pipe operating system of foreign design and manufacturing technology is mature, more reliable, easier to be accepted in the international market,in the monopoly position in the market of China. So it is necessary to speed up the research of drill pipe automatic operating system. This subject is based on the current situation.Design a bridge type drill operating system,to realize the automation of placing the drill stem?connecting the stand of drill pipe and other operations. This paper mainly completed the following work:Firstly, introduced the drill pipe automatic operating systems which have been put into use, summarized the development status of foreign and domestic drill pipe automatic operating systems, discussed the necessity and urgency of increasing technical support and investment.Secondly, analyzed schemes of drill pipe automatic operating systems, introduced ?compared advantages and disadvantages of column type?mechanical hand type?bridge type drill operating system, chose bridge type and determined the mechanism, then created model with the aid of Solidworks.Thirdly, calculated and analyzed mechanical strength. Then designed the hydraulic system, calculated and chose the main hydraulic components. Finally, completed the kinematics and dynamics analysis.
