The environmental issues are increasingly serious today. Saving energy and improving the utilization rate of resources is not only a guarantee for the normal production and operation of enterprises, but also for the healthy and sustainable development of the company. It is also an inevitable choice for enterprises to adapt to the needs of the market, reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve the environment and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Increasing resource utilization, reducing or eliminating pollution from the source is a challenge for each industry, and it is also a hot topic in recent years. Hair products industry in Xuchang is in the transition period now, the increasing labor costs and the enormous pressure from government clean production audit make some small and medium-sized products enterprises in the state of discontinued and rectified. How to change the extensive management to a resource-intensive and environment-friendly industry is the problem which hair products enterprises to face. The main research contents of the paper are as follows:1. First of all, investigate the hair products enterprises in Wei Du District and the Economic Development Zone of Xuchang. To understand the typical hair products production process and the waste water characteristics of the process. analysis the water quality of the focus sewage section,screening the possible direction of companies to reduce emissions. select one of the large hair products enterprises - LZ Hair products enterprises , detect the water quality of the important sewage outfalls, for example , the Pickling, neutralizing, rinsing, dyeing, shampooing and so on . Detect indicators include pH, COD,ammonia nitrogen, color, surfactant, SS, BOD5.2. A and B is used as a substitute for ammonia in the neutralization section respectively . Reduce the amount of ammonia continuously ,and increase the amount of substitutes at the same time , observe the concentration of ammonia in the neutralization stage . The hair samples were characterized by FT-IR, SEM,tensile properties, and protein loss. The effects on the addition of the substitutes on the neutralization were studied. Discuss the effect of emission reduction when using A and B as the substitute for ammonia.3.Using organic alkali A as the substitute for ammonia in the neutralization section. The concentration of ammonia nitrogen and COD in the neutralization solution was examined. At the same time, the post-neutral samples were characterized by FT-IR, SEM analysis, tensile property test and protein loss measurement. The effects of different proportions of organic alkali A on the hair quality were studied. The effects of organic alkali A on the emission reduction of ammonia nitrogen were not discussed without affecting the quality of hair.
