In this paper,the vertical vibration of a four-roll cold rolling mill is studied,and the causes,characteristics and important influence factors of the vertical vibration of the rolling mill are simulated and analyzed.Firstly,the dynamic model of four-roll mill vertical vibration system is established from different aspects,and the response is solved.Secondly,the corresponding finite element model is established,and the dynamic model analysis of the rolling mill and the frame is carried out.Finally,The simulation analysis of the rolling parameters which affect the vertical vibration of the rolling mill are carried out.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Considering the hysteresis of the rolling force and the displacement of the rolling mill,the nonlinear dynamic model of the mill roll system is established.Secondly,taking the nonlinear damping and stiffness in the vertical vibration system of the rolling mill into consideration,the nonlinear stiffness and damping dynamic model of the mill roll system are established.Finally,based on the accuracy of vertical vibration research,the mill roll is divided into several parts,and the multi-segment nonlinear model of mill roll system is established.The three models are solved by nonlinear method such as multi-scale method and incremental harmonic balance method.The influence of process parameters on the vertical vibration characteristics of the rolling mill is analyzed.(2)In this paper,a three-dimensional solid model of rolling mill and frame is established by using SolidWorks.A finite element model is established by introducing the 3D solid model into finite element analysis software ANSYS.The dynamic modal analysis on the working roll,supporting roll and frame of the four-high cold rolling mill is carried out.And the effects of natural mode and different vibration frequencies on the deformation of the working roll,the supporting roll and the frame in the vertical direction are studied.(3)In order to study the influence of various parameters on the vertical vibration of the rolling mill,the mechanical system software ADAMS is used to analyze the flexibility of the rigid three-dimensional model of the imported rolling mill,and use the flexible analysis module in ADAMS to soften the working roll in the rigid model.The influence of rolling force,different tension,different damping and differentbandwidth on the vertical vibration of rolling mill is studied in ADAMS based on the defined parameters.Finally,the vertical vibration curves obtained in the working roll rigidity and flexibility are compared.(4)In this paper,Engineering test of the four-roll cold rolling mill is done and the vertical vibration characteristics of the roll system and frame and the rolling parameters of the rolling mill are analyzed.And The corresponding spectrum of the roll system and the frame and the corresponding vertical vibration spectrum of the working roll considering the influence of various factors are obtained.Finally,the spectrum and simulation results are compared and analyzed and the accuracy of the simulation results is verified.
