With technological advancements and cast improvements, foundry shaping work-pieces have been widely used in areas of steel, petrifaction, shipbuilding, machine tools etc. on account of the economics, strength and hardness. But,elimination of sprues,risers and burrs on the finished products is still low automatic with bad working environment.Water jet cut has developed rapidly in recent years with its broad application prospects in manufacture, aerospace, military, medical science and new energy and the advantages of fast cutting, good notch quality, no HAZ (heat affected zone), good environmental etc.Water jet cut has displaced traditional eliminate because of its various advantages.And water jet cut adaptation has been verified through the comparison with traditional cut methods in efficiency, surface quality and environmental.Scholars from various countries put forward different cutting models based on theoretical and experimental in the study of abrasive water jet cut. Cutting trajectory curve equation which shows the relationship of thickness and drag amounts before and after the cut is presented through the analysis of water jet cut curve and the premise of idealized water jet curve appears parabola. Besides, the cutting modes which can predict the cutting trajectory curve shape and surface quality have been proposed by drag empirical formula before and after water jet cut. The calculate methods of cutting stripe bend radius can be derived through the above mentioned water jet cut trajectory curve equation. In addition, the relationship between cutting speed and stripe bend radius can be obtained through experiments. Based on the analysis of abrasive jet parameters and the energy conservation law, cutting speed and depth curvilinear equation which is related with working pressures can be obtained. The working pressure is constant in cutting process and cutting speed in proportion to cutting depth and they are as functions of each other. Modes veracity has been ascertained through amounts of experiments, and provides theoretical basis for real cut work.Automatic equipment of hoisting and unload, water supply and drainage, position detection and high pressure water cut have been designed through analysis of abrasive water jet cut theory and arranged the whole facilities which provide reference for future manufacture. The structure design of high-pressure water jet cut device and dynamics,kinematics simulation of rail, feed system etc. have been accomplished.
