As the production of wide and heavy plate on non-vertical mill lacks the lateral pressure process and that causes the yield loss greatly,it is important to study the variation of plane view pattern of non-vertical wide and heavy plate mill and put forward the control strategies to improve the yield of wide and heavy plate.In this paper,the project of 5000 mm wide and heavy plate rectangular optimization in Nanjing Iron and Steel is taken as the background.The evolution of plane view pattern and influencing factors of wide and heavy plate are studied by FEM simulation,production statistics and theoretical analysis.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.The main factors that influence plane view pattern of wide and heavy plate on non-vertical mill are studied by statistical analysis and production test.The formula of MAS rolling parameters is deduced by the volume invariant law,and the FEM implementation method of MAS rolling is studied.2.The three-dimensional elastic-plastic FEM model of hot rolling process of wide and heavy plate on non-vertical rolling mill is established by the FEM software MSC·Marc.The variation law of plane view pattern of wide and heavy plate during the rolling process with different broadening ratio,compression ratio,rolling method,blank thickness and blank width are studied and according to which we have put forward the best rolling method and the options of blank size.3.The residual value of the head and edge of the steel plate is obtained by non-plane view pattern control method.The MAS rolling parameters of the typical specifications are calculated and the accuracy of the MAS rolling parameters calculation formula is verified.According to the verification results,the calculation formula of MAS rolling parameters is modified and the model of MAS rolling parameters is established.4.The reliability of the model of MAS rolling parameters is verified by using in actual production.The results show that the rectangular-degree of the wide and heavy plate functions well and the rolling yield is improved obviously by using the model of MAS rolling parameters.5.The influences of AGC performance,blank size and direction of turning for rectangular-degree of plate are studied by the production line debugging and the FEM simulation and the corresponding control measures have been put forward to make the plan view pattern of plate rectangular.
