With the aggravation of the energy crisis in the world,green manufacturing has attracted wide attention.As an important auxiliary equipment in forging workshop,the forging manipulator is one of the necessary equipments in free-forging production whose hydraulic system generates a lot of energy loss during the forging process.But at present,the research on the energy consumption of hydraulic system for forging manipulator is extremely rare.In this paper,Based on the typical action process and take the 100 kN forging manipulator as the research object,the energy consumption and saving method of hydraulic system for the forging manipulator will be studied in order to improve the energy efficiency of the hydraulic system and provide theoretical and technical guidance for optimizing of hydraulic control system of forging manipulator,and the main contents are as follows:1)The energy flow model and energy consumption calculation model of the electro-hydraulic proportional control system of the forging manipulator will be established,and the control characteristics and the method of energy consumption evaluation will be analysised.On this basis,the simulation model of the hydraulic system of forging manipulaor will be built whose accuracy verified by experiments on the physical model of the 100 kN forging manipulator.2)Based on the principle that the end of clamp of forging manipulator can not collide with the anvil of the forging hydraulic press and saving energy when program forging,the three main actions what are the cart walking,clamp rotating and clamp lifting when program forging under normal forging and quick forging on the stretching process will be planned and analysised.3)The control characteristics and energy consumption characteristics of the hydraulic system for the forging manipulator in the case of constant forging which are the cart walking,clamp rotating and clamp lifting and in the case of fast forging which is the “clamp rise-cart-clamp down” and “clamp up-clamp rotation-clamp down” will be analysised,and the distribution of energy consumption of hydraulic system will be obtained.4)The main part of the energy loss of the hydraulic system in the working process will be found as the energy saving space to provide the basis for optimizing the hydraulic system of the manipulator.5)Based on the analysis of energy consumption of the hydraulic system of forging manipulator,the hydraulic system will be improved using the secondary regulation and matrix circuit,and the feasibility of recovering and reusing the gravitational potential of the clamp when downing and the inertia potential energy of the cart when walking will be simulated,and the feasibility of recovering the gravitational potential of the clamp when downing will be verified by experiments...
