The size of the strip thickness error is a key indicator of product quality.Therefore,the study and improvement of the hydraulic automatic gap control system(HAGC)is one of the important means to improve the product quality of strip steel.In this thesis,the automatic control system of finishing thickness is researched and analyzed systematically.The main contents are as follows:(1)By reading a large number of books and literature on automation and thickness control systems for continuous rolling systems,the thickness control technology at home and abroad the history and present situation is understood.(2)Entrance rolled piece,mill housing equipment,rolling mill control system of three kinds of interference factors are summarized.How to overcome these interference factors and minimize the negative impact of the strip thickness,thickness of self-control is our research direction and goal.(3)The compensating methods such as thermal expansion and wear compensation,roll eccentricity compensation,tension loss compensation,oil film thickness compensation,second flow compensation and mill stiffness compensation are studied.GM-AGC,feedforward AGC and monitoring AGC are proposed,including AGC control mode control principle and advantages and disadvantages.(4)Based on the research of the hot rolled strip production process,and existing automation equipment configuration,the study discussed and analyzed the basic automation and process automation in automatic control plays the role and effect of the thickness.Compared with AGC control and unused AGC control of strip export strip data and curves,it is found that when not cast AGC actual thickness of the strip is obviously uneven,fluctuation,the largest range of fluctuation ± 50?m.When the feedforward AGC and the mornitering AGC are used at the same time,the measured strip thickness fluctuation range is obviously smaller,the control accuracy is within ± 20?m,and the thickness accuracy of the strip is obviously improved.
