Thickness deviation and shape precision are the main measures for the products of the strip,and the relevant control strategy has been a hot spot in the research of the automation of the rolling process.Based on the background of a 1700 mm TCM construction project,referring to a number of books about interal and foreign literature,the main equipment parameters,the sour rolling mill production process and instrument configuration knowledge,choose Siemens software platform,the whole automatic control system,hardware configuration,network configuration and program.In the field practice,the speed control in the main control system is studied,including the main functions of the control system.The main functions include the pre setting value,the calculation of the main velocity and the tracking of the rolling mill.Through the PLC programming,in-depth research FGC,we get variable specifications change time point and parameter table during rolling,and we also achieve the FGC technology adjustment method,control mode and calculation method.The article studies the calculation method of shape control and thickness control,in order to improve the rolling thickness and shape precision as the starting point of hydraulic actuator,automatic gauge control system,shape measurement and so on.In the process of rolling thickness control strategy of shape control strategy and the board to determine,we give the FF AGC,Simith AGC,mass flow AGC etc control strategy and control algorithm.In the shape control system,by the analysis of the different defects of plate shape bending force and application of emulsion based on dichotomy cooling control model,get the high control precision,fast calculation,calculation method of adjusting quantity of good stability are attained,and a good control is achieved.The research results in this paper are aimed at the control of thickness and shape control in cold rolling process.At present,the control strategy has been successfully applied to the production line of a certain acid mill,which has a positive effect on the improvement of the control level of the plate and strip production in our country.
