Objective: To explore the syndrome elements of High-normal Blood Pressure to provide relevant objective clinical evidence for syndrome differentiation and treatment.Methods: This research adopt Epidemiological Methods preparing questionnaires, collecting the information from the TCM four diagnostic methods and establishing the database of patients with High-normal Blood Pressure, use Statistical Software to carry out descriptive statistical analysis of the general information of the symptomatic patients and to carry out Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis of the symptom indicators.Result:(1)In the high-normal blood pressure group,mainly occurred in 40~49 years old, 50% had a high sodium diet, overweight and obesity, family history of hypertension more than 34%;(2) 69.77% of respondents have clinical symptoms, the common symptoms including headache, dizziness, soreness and weakness of waist and knees;(3) Factor analysis extracted a total of eight common factors, cluster analysis to obtain a total of five categories symptom clusters.Conclusion:(1) The high-normal blood pressure mainly occurred in young people;High-sodium diet, overweight and obesity, family history of hypertension are major risk factors for the high-normal blood pressure;(2) Part of respondents' blood pressure achieve the high-normal blood pressure without clinical symptoms, most of the clinical symptoms of liver and kidney symptoms signify blood pressure are related with Liver and Kidney in this period;(3) Factor analysis and cluster analysis on the symptom information of the people with normal high blood pressure. When extracting 8 common factors, the natures of this disease follows: activity of Yang, deficiency of Yin, phlegm, while locations follows: Liver, Spleen, Kidney. TCM Syndromes of patients with High-normal blood pressure was tentatively divided into four types : Asymptomatic, Liver Fire, Excessive accumulation of phlegm-dampness, Yin Deficiency with Yang Hyperactivity, Kidney-Yang Deficiency through experts' Syndrome Differentiation.
