Objective: To approach the expression and significance of MGMT and ERCC1 in glioma. And to explored the factors of prognosis of the patients with gliomas. Methods: 42 samples of glioma were collected from Ningxia Medical University General Hospital during January 2013 to October 2014.And all of them were diagnosed by the departmnet of pathology.According to the WHO classification of tumors of the central nervous system standard grading(?~?).All patients useing the standard treatment of surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. We used the immunohistochemistry technique(IHC) for the SP. According to double-blind method, all specimens after immunohistochemical staining were read and made a definite diagnosis by Pathology specialist. Staining results were analyzed according to Krajewska semi-quantitative method. All patients were followed up and analyzed the impact of differences in patients with glioma and expored the prognosis. Results: 42 cases were included in the study.MGMT espression was detected with a 38.1% positive rate. Its expression was 37.5%.30% and 42.9% in grade ?.grade ? and grade ? gliomas. The expression of MGMT in different histological grading group were insignificant(P>0.05).ERCC1 espression was detected with a 61.9% positive rate. Its expression was 37.5%.30% and 42.9% in grade ?.grade ? and grade ? gliomas. The expression of ERCC1 in different histological grading group were insignificant(P>0.05).The expression of MGMT and ERCC1 in different age, gender, ethnic group, tomor size and KPS score had no statistically significant(P>0.05). The expression of MGMT was not correlated with the expression of ERCC1(r=0.222,P>0.05).The expression MGMT and ERCC1 were no correlations in gliomas.Tumor grade,KPS and tumor sizes were related to prognosis(P> 0.05).Patient's age?40 years, WHO ?grade, KPS?70 were regraded as poor prognostic factors in gliomas. Conclusions: The expression of MGMT and ERCC1 were not related with different histological grading group and prognosis in glioma.Patient's age?40 years, WHO ?grade, KPS?70 were regraded as poor prognostic factors in gliomas.
