Clinic Research On The Treatment Of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Subclinical Hypothyroidism Period By The Method Of Liver Resolving Depression, Reducing Phlegm And Eliminating Stasis

Objective:This study, by the method of the liver resolving depression,reducing phlegm and eliminating blood stasis in the treatment of subclinical hypothyroidism (TSH> 10 uIU/ml)of the clinical efficacy of hashimoto’s thyroiditis, aims to illustrate the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Therefore,we can expand the approaches of treatment of hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and accumulate some materials for the research of the disease in traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Methods:This study was originally from Department of Endocrinology, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, taking 60 patients who were diagnosed to suffer from subclinical hypothyroidism (TSH> 10 uIU/ml), as the research objects. According to the time of hospital staying successively,they were divided into control group and treatment group with simple randomized grouping (random number table method).The control group(30 cases)was treated by euthyrox only;Treatment group (30 cases) was on the basis of euthyrox therapy,combined with liver resolving depression, reducing phlegm and eliminating blood stasis syndromes of oral (twice a day).Observe the statistic of symptom scores. TCM main symptoms, FT3, FT4, TSH, TGAb, TPO-Ab and other indicators of the two groups before and after treatment separately, and all the datum were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 statistical software.Results:Before treatment, gender, age, duration of general data of the two groups are compared. Because there is no significant difference (P>0.05), the datum of the two groups are comparable.Symptom scores,TCM syndrome score, FT3, FT4, TSH, TGAb,TPO-Ab and other baseline data are statistical analyzed, and the differences have no statistically significant (P>0.05),so the datum of the two groups are comparable.After treatment:①Comparing the level of FT3,FT4 level within group, the level of the two groups increases after four weeks and twelve weeks of treatment separately. However, there is no statistical significance to compare the differences between the two groups (P>0.05);②Comparing the level of TSH within group, the level of the two groups decreases after four weeks and twelve weeks of treatment.However,there is no statistical significance to compare the differences between the two groups(P>0.05);③Comparing the level of TGAb,TPO-Ab within group, the level of the treatment group decreases after treatment. In the control group, there is no obvious decrease after treatment. Comparing differences between groups has statistical significance (P<0.05);④Comparing the level of TCM syndrome score within group, the level decreases in both groups after treatment. But comparing differences between groups has statistical significance (P<0.05);⑤Two groups of TCM main symptoms (enlargement of the Thyroidgland,depression or irritability, chest tightness, ribtingling, sigh, fatigue) integral level group comparison a fter treatment compared with before treatment has declined,the difference between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05);⑥By evaluating TCM syndrome curative effect, in the treatment group, the effective rate is 92.6%. In the control group,the total effective rate is 57.1%, and the difference between the two groups has statistical significance (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The method of liver resolving depression,reducing phlegm and eliminating blood stasis in the treatment of subclinical hypothyroidism (TSH> 10 uIU/ml)of hashimoto’s thyroiditis has good curative effect, especially in improving the clinical symptoms and reducing the level of TGAb,TPO-Ab.It is worth further exploration and promotion.
