| Objectives:By collecting 159 cases of National TCM Master Professor Guo Ziguang’s treatment of chronic kidney disease, and mining drug laws and application compatibility of them, we will summarize the clinical experience and academic thought of Professor Guo’s clinical treatment of chronic kidney disease, and expect to provide improve the clinical efficacy of TCM in treating chronic kidney disease.Methods:l.The study of ancient literature:Utilizing the fifth edition of "Chinese Medical Classics" Software developed by China Association of Chinese Medicine, Hunan Electronic Audio-Visual Publishing House and Flying Bear Software Technology Co., Ltd. and using "edema"," floating edema", "water gas", "retention of urine", "Bi Long", "Long" and "obstruction and rejection", "consumptive disease", "Xu Sun", "lumbago" and "hematuria"as key words, to study ancient literature related to disease similar to chronic kidney disease.2.The study of modern literature:Utilizing CNKI as the main search engine and using "chronic glomerulonephritis "," chronic nephritis "," nephrotic syndrome"," asymptomatic hematuria ", " asymptomatic proteinuria ", " occult nephritis ", " Hypertensive renal disease ", "nephrotic sign ","IgA nephropathy", " chronic renal failure "," chronic renal insufficiency " and " chronic renal failure " as key words, to study modern literature From 1950 to 2016.3. Software mining of TCM inheritance auxiliary platform:Using TCM inheritance auxiliary platform software V2.5 to excavate analyze Professor Guo Ziguang’s medical records of treating chronic kidney disease from March 1,2013 to October 15,2014, and summarize his prescription, drug laws and academic thoughts of treatment of chronic kidney disease.Results:l.The study results of ancient literature:Treatment of chronic kidney disease which belongs to consumptive disease and lumbago, usually use Shenqi Wan to tonify kidney; which belongs to edema,often treat from yin edema, and often treat with Shenqi Wan and Zhenwu decoction ect.; which belongs to hematuria often has complex etiology, and need treatment based on syndrome differentiation. If the disease is not cure for a long time, it can be converted toretention of urine, obstruction and rejection, which are often difficult to treat.2. The study results of modern literature:Chronic kidney disease such as chronic glomerulonephritis are often deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality.The deficiency in origin often means the lung, spleen and kidney deficiency, especially the spleen and kidney deficiency. And the excess in superficiality means hot and humid, wet and dirty, stagnated blood of evil Qi, and chronic renal failure is often related to stagnated blood.3. Software mining results:Professor Guo’s treatment of chronic kidney disease is based on the basic prescription of Yupingfeng San combined with Shenqi Wan, in which Shenqi Wanare used for kidney Yang deficiency patients. And if the patient is kidney Yin deficiency, Liuweidihuang Wan is often used instead. If the patient is not cured for a long time, the disease usually intrudes into collaterals which connect channels, we use leech in the prescription. chronic renal failure patients often use the prescription combined with Didang decoction, and removing gadfly of it.Conclusion:1.Ancient physicians treats the similar disease of chronic kidney disease often from deficiency and excess, and usually use Shenqi Wan as the basic prescription.2. Modern literature shows that the deficiency in origin of chronic kidney disease often argues from the deficiency of lung, spleen and kidney, especially the deficiency of spleen and kidney. It often treat with Shenyang Yiwei Decoction, Shenqi Dihuang Decoction and Jisheng Shenqi Wan.3. Professor Guo Ziguang use Yupingfeng San combined with Shenqi Wan to treat chronic kidney disease which shows thatProfessor Guo’s academic thought of starting with "combined with disease and syndrome" and treating from the basic pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease of "lung Qi and kidney Qi deficiency". It is the high thought summary and theoretical sublimation of treatment based on syndrome differentiation of chronic kidney disease, which involves both the Inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine theory and innovation of syndrome differentiation. |
