Management Of Complications After Facial Rejuvenation

Objective:To analyze the incidence of various types of complications caused by the injection of facial dermal fillers,and to explore the clinical effect of small incision injection extraction method.Data and methods:From March 2015 to February 2017,167 patients were diagnosed and treated in our hospital because of the complications of injection of unknown injection,and there were 186 sites.All patients were treated in illegal or private clinics.They visited our hospital because.of complications after injection.This paper analyze the incidence of complications,except for thromboembolism.Direct removal of material of injection with small incision under local anesthesia was used.In the group of poor morphology of nose and chin,the postoperative complications of prosthesis implantation after facial injection removal and facial injection removal only were compared with chi square test.Results:From March 2015 to February 2017,167 patients were diagnosed and treated in our hospital because of the complications of injection of unknown injection,and there were 186 sites.Among them,120 patients with 139 sites complained of poor shape.Poor nasal morphology complained in 100 cases,including 63 cases of nasal injection which were removed and underwent augmentation rhinoplasty at the same time.7 cases of complications occurred after operation in two weeks(11.1%).37 cases were treated with nasal injection only,and 2 cases of complications occurred after operation in two weeks(5.4%)The two groups was tested by chi square test in rates of complications in two weeks,0.5<p<0.75,there was no statistical difference.Poor chin morphology complained in 39 cases.Of which 9 cases were treated with the augmentation melonoplasty after the removal surgery and no complication occurred.30 cases were treated with the removal of injection of the chin only,and 3 cases(10%)of complications occurred.The two groups was tested by chi square test in rates of complications in two weeks,0.25<p<0.5,there was no statistical difference.11 cases of local infection were treated with facial injection removal,and the prosthesis was not placed at the same time.Postoperative complications occurred in 2 cases(18.2%)in two weeks.5 cases complaining of local inflammatory response,and all the patients were treated with removal of facial injection.The prosthesis was not placed at the same time,and there were no complications after the operation for two weeks.Complaining of local nodules,22 cases were treated with facial injection removal and 3 cases underwent rhinoplasty at the same time,complications occurred in 2 cases in two weeks.7 patients,complaining of injection migration,were treated with injection removal surgery.The postoperative complications occurred in 1 cases(14.3%).Complaining of thrombosis,the 2cases were treated with PVP externally and vascular dilation drugs,and the prognosis is good after two weeks of treatment.Conclusion:The most common complications of facial injection with dermal fillers were poor morphology,followed by local uplift,local infection,migration of injection and local inflammatory response,and the lowest incidence was vascular embolization.In the group of poor morphology of nose and chin,the postoperative complications of prosthesis implantation after facial injection removal and facial injection removal only were compared with chi square test,and there is no significant difference.Small incision injection extraction method can be recommended as an efficient treatment for all types of complications following the injection of dermal fillers.
