| OBJECTIVES:1.Determine the bone density of the Nu nationality middle-aged and elderly population in Nujiang State,Yunnan Province by quantitative ultrasonic technique then to explore the change law.2.Investigate the prevalence of osteoporosis in middle-aged and elderly people in Nujiang State,Yunnan Province,and to explore the related risk factors.3.Evaluate the value of OSTA system in self-diagnosis and prediction of osteoporosis in middle-aged and elderly population of Nu nationality in Nujiang State area.4.Investigate the serum bone metabolism markers in the middle-aged and elderly population in Nujiang State,Yunnan Province,understand it’s changes and to evaluate its value in predicting the occurrence of osteoporosis.Methods:The modern epidemiological stratified random sampling method was used to select the local population aged over 40 years in Nu nationality of Pihe Town,Fugong County,Nujiang,Yunnan Province.A total of 140 people was divided into 10 years old group to determine physiological signs and bone density,while to understand their daily life,work habits,fertility production and other information in the form of a questionnaire.Serum β-CTX,BGP,BALP and PINP were determined in 108 of the above subjects.The data were analyzed by spss21.0.Result:1.There were no obvious changes in the SI values of the aged men in the Nu nationality in Nujiang State,Yunnan Province,and there was no statistical significance in the 10-year loss rate.The SI values in the female group is decreasing year by year.The SI loss rate was the highest in the 60-69 age group,reaching 16.63%,and difference was statistically significant,so did 50-59,70-79 age group,and all group SI values between different genders.Male SI value is greater than female.2.The overall prevalence of OP was 10%,the prevalence of females was 10.7%,and that of males was 7.1%.The prevalence of male and female increased with age.The overall and women prevalence rate in 60-69 years old,70-79 years old group was higher than other age groups.Height,OSTA index,body weight and T value,SI value,Z value was positively correlated;The age and female birth were negatively correlated with T value,Z value and SI value.The incidence for people who often eat soybeans and walk more is relatively low.3.The risk level of OSTA was positively correlated with the prevalence of OP this region,and the higher the risk level of OSTA,the higher the prevalence of OP.OSTA index of women under the ROC curve was 0.875;the overall AUC was 0.852.OSTA index can accurately predict OP for elderly population and female population of Nu nationality.4.There was a negative correlation between P-CTX and T values in the middle-aged and elderly,and females of Nu nationality in Nujiang State.The BGP was negatively correlated with the T value,so did women’s phosphatase(BALP).The BALP and BGP values of Nu family women OP population in Nujiang State were higher than those not suffering OP.Conclusion:1.The bone Stiffness Index SI of middle-aged and elderly people of Nu nationality in Nujiang State,Nujiang Yunnan Province is decreasing with age,and the SI loss rate of female is higher than that of male.The SI loss rate of female is highest in 60-69 years old group,so prevention should be focused on this age group.2.The prevalence of OP in the elderly population of the Nujiang State in Nujiang County,Yunnan Province was lower than the national level.The peak prevalence of the whole population and women was 60-69 years old and 70-79 years old,and was consistent with that of SI lost.Male prevalence was relatively scattered,so it is suggested much attention should be paid to special age according to gender to achieve the best effect.3.Women’s bone mass was negatively correlated with age,birth rate in the middle-aged and elderly population of Nujiang State in Nujiang,Yunnan Province,and had no correlation between pregnancy,menarche age and menopause age.There was a positive correlation between bone mass and body weight,height,and negatively correlated with age.Regular consumption of soy products and more walking can reduce the OP prevalence of Nu nationality.4.OSTA is a good tool for Nu nationality to self-test OP.5.β-CTX was negatively correlated with T values in the middle-aged and elderly,and females of Nu nationality in Nujiang State.The BGP was negatively correlated with the T value.There was a negative correlation between BALP and T value.The other statistic was not statistically significant.From above,Women whose blood is BALP and BGP of Nu nationality in Nujiang State should be more vigilant in the occurrence of bone. |
