The Clinical Observation Of Xiaoying Ointment On Treating The Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Objective:To discuss the superiority of Chinese medicine application at the point by means of observing the clinical effect of external using of dissipating phlegm for eliminating goiter in the treatment of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.(FT3,FT4 and TSH are normal or mildly abnormal,A-TPO and TGAb are significantly increased.)Methods:60 Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients were separated into 2 groups randomly.30 patients in treatment-group were given the dissipating phlegm for eliminating goiter application at the point and iodine-deficient diet.The other 30 were given iodine-deficient diet as control.It lasted 3 courses of treatment,1 course included 4 weeks.Evaluated the medicinal cure effect on the basis of the judgment standard for clinical effect and the syndrome effect judgment standards of traditional Chinese medicine.Statistical analysed the integral of Chinese medicine syndrome and physicochemical indexes.Results:The analysis shown that the treatment-group was superior to the controls at the improvement of clinical symptom and sign(P<0.05)and the reduction of thickness of left lobe,right lobe and isthmus of thyroid(P<0.05).A-TPO and TGAb of the treatment-group were significantly lower than the control(P<0.01).Clinical medication was safe without untoward effects.Conclusion:Clinical effects indicated that the external using of dissipating phlegm for eliminating goiter significantly shrank the swollen thyroid gland of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients and decreased the level of antibody with the improvement of clinical symptom and sign.Clinical medication is safe and the treatment deserves to the further discussion.
