Objective:(1).Learn and master the medical digital design combined with 3D printing technology preliminarily;(2).Study the clinical value of 3D printing guide in the process of auxiliary anterograde humerus intramedullary nail;Methods:This study collected thin-slice CT scanning data from 13 patients who have accepted CTA treatment in the hospital from January 2016 to January 2017,and these data was introduced into Mimics17.0 software for three-dimensional reconstruction and corresponding treatment to obtain 3D model of humerus and shoulder joint.The 3D model was used to determine the ideal entry point in the proximal humerus with the centerline and other tools.The reconstructed model was introduced into the Magic20.0software,and the guide plate was designed with two sets of positioning programs.Program 1,the positioning point is decided by the size of the nodules;Program 2,the shoulder and the coracoid process are the positioning point.The designed guide plate and the reconstructed shoulder joint will be produced into a solid model with the help of 3D printing technology,and the model will be used to simulate the process of intramedullary nail pin puncture.At last,we will use X-ray to verify the puncture effect.Results:All of the 13 cases were designed and printed based on the above two programs and the simulated puncture can smoothly penetrate the medullary cavity.Besides,the X-ray fluoroscopy shows that the guide pin is located basically in the center of the medullary cavity,and can also go through the narrow center.Conclusion:The guid plate made by digital design combined with 3D printing technology can help to make sure setting nail in properly,which has changed the traditional nailing mode base d on experience and has also avoided repeated blind puncture.However,it still needs furth er clinical validation and improvement.
