Objective: Radial fracture is a common upper limb fracture in clinical practice,and its treatment methods are various.Due to the obvious advantages of intramedullary nailing,it has gradually become a new treatment method.However,the existing radial intramedullary nail has some disadvantages such as poor anti-rotation ability and easy to damage the radial nerve,and good anti-rotation stability and protection of the radial nerve are the most basic requirements for the treatment of radial fracture with intramedullary nail.Therefore,through the measurement and analysis of the radial anatomical data of healthy adult radiographs,the reference range of the radial anatomical data of normal adult male and female was obtained.According to the measured reference value,a new type of radial internal bone marrow nail was designed to make up for the deficiency of existing internal bone marrow fixation products.Methods: Recruited for 79 cases of bilateral forearm radial healthy adult men and women volunteers without exception,the X line standard is oblique perspective,using computer software respectively measurement the radial anatomical length,Angle and back Angle and the diameter of the medullary cavity,etc.,by gender,age,or so,Different groups are the continuity of normal distribution data using mean± standard deviation,said Comparison between the two groups was performed by independent sample T test.After statistical analysis,the reference range of radial anatomy was obtained,the anatomical map of the radius was drawn,and the intramedullary nail was designed by drawing software,Produce the product and patent it.Results: 1.The age of male and female was(35.51±12.72)years and(38.42±12.32)years,respectively,and there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Comparison between the left and right sides of male radius,there were no statistically significant differences in allmeasurement indexes(P > 0.05).The maximum length of male radius was(250.89±12.68)mm,the maximum was 270.26 mm,and the minimum was 215.56 mm.Male radial declination Angle was(7.35±0.83)°,maximum 8.64°,minimum 5.33°.The narrowest inner diameter of male radial bone marrow cavity was(5.86±1.02)mm,the maximum was 7.97 mm,and the minimum was 3.49 mm.Comparison between the left and right sides of female radius,there were no statistically significant differences in all measurement indexes(P > 0.05).The maximum length of female radius was(224.21±11.27)mm,the maximum was 248.02 mm,and the minimum was 205.39 mm.The female radial deviation Angle was(7.34±0.64)°,with a maximum of 8.45° and a minimum of 5.87°.The narrowest inner diameter of female radial bone marrow cavity was(4.69±0.83)mm,the maximum was 7.92 mm,and the minimum was 3.17 mm.Except the radial and dorsal Angle were no significant differences between male and female in the left radius(P > 0.05),The other measurement indexes were statistically significant.Except the radial and dorsal Angle were no significant differences between male and female in the right radius(P > 0.05),The other measurement indexes were statistically significant.2.According to the radial morphology and anatomical reference range,the design of the new radial internal bone marrow nail was successfully completed,and its working principle was illustrated.Finished product production and patent application.Conclusion: 1.The reference values of radial length,radial declination Angle,dorsal declination Angle,radial rotation length,radial vertical height and the diameter of the narrowest part of the medullary cavity were measured by X-ray film,so as to provide clear data support for the design of a new radial internal bone marrow nail.2.The radial intramedullary nail is designed by serrated umbrella cap and arc cylindrical body to increase the friction with the medullary cavity,so that it can be closely pressurized with the medullary cavity,which not only avoids the injury of the radial nerve,but also controls the rotational stability of the radius,making up for the deficiency of existing intramedullary fixation products.
