Clinical Study On Prevention And Treatment Of Nausea And Vomiting Caused By Chemotherapy Of Advanced Gastrointestinal Tumor By Acupoint Application

Chemotherapy is the main treatment method of malignant tumor,it also damage normal cells in cancer at the same time,one of the most common is nausea and vomiting,not only affects the nutritional status of patients,reduce the quality of life of patients,so that patients with fear and refuse to complete the required treatment and the doctor was forced to suspend or change treatment to prolong patients with anti cancer treatment and survival,so the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting is significant.At present,the modern medicine routine antiemetic drugs include 5-HT3 receptor blockers,teroids,gastrointestinal motility drugs,antihistamines,etc.,but most of them are more expensive,more toxic and side effects.Chinese medicine based on syndrome differentiation in traditional Chinese medicine decoction,acupuncture,acupoint application therapy treatment together,and achieved good results in the treatment of vomiting,give full play to the traditional Chinese medicine,simple,effective and inexpensive advantage.Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupoint sticking therapy on the the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in advanced gastrointestinal cancer.Methods:50 patients with advanced gastrointestinal cancer patients with the standard in accordance with the proportion of 1:1 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 25 cases in each group,the control group on the day of chemotherapy intravenous tropisetron hydrochloride 5mg,treatment group in the control group on the basis of a chemotherapy before Shenque acupoint application of Chinese medicine to stop vomiting plaster.Nausea,vomiting and anorexia were observed in two groups of patients on chemotherapy for 1,2,3,and 7 days,and adverse reactions were recorded.The KPS score of the patients was evaluated.All data was analyzed by SPSS 17.O statistical software,and P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:(1)Compared between the treatment group and the control group of patients with multiple factors of age,gender,disease type,KPS score before chemotherapy,there were no statistically significant difference between them(P>0.05).the two groups were comparable.(2)The efficiency of the prevention and treatment of nausea,the treatment group was higher than the control group,the rank and inspection analysis,in addition to the first day of chemotherapy of P>0.05 suggested that the two groups no significant difference,2.3 and 7 days of chemotherapy was P<0.05,the effect of the treatment group in the prevention of chemotherapy induced nausea is better than the control group.(3)The efficiency of prevention and treatment of acute vomiting,while the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,but the statistics showed P>0.05,suggesting that there was no significant difference between the two groups in the prevention and treatment of acute vomiting.Chemotherapy on the 2.3 and 7 days,the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,P<0.05,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(4)On the condition of appetite,the effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group in the 1,2,3,and 7 days of chemotherapy,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(5)The cases of adverse reaction after chemotherapy in the treatment group were significantly less than the control group.For improvement of constipation,headache,abdominal distension symptoms,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of the effective rate of dizziness,diarrhea symptoms(P>0.05).The treatment group could reduce the incidence of adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy.Conclusion:Acupoint therapy can effectively improve the advanced gastrointestinal cancer chemotherapy induced nausea symptoms,no obvious prevention effect on chemotherapy of acute vomiting,delayed vomiting prevention effect,and can improve the appetite of chemotherapy,reduce the adverse reaction of chemotherapy and improve the chemotherapy tolerance,guarantee the smooth progress of chemotherapy,improve the quality of life of patients with chemotherapy and prolong the survival period.
